JON KALVIN

“Jon Kalvin is a Toronto-based illustrator with a background in fine art and a passion for character-driven storytelling. After beginning his career in traditional painting and exhibiting work in galleries, he transitioned to digital illustration in 2015 shifting his creative focus to picture books and character design. His style blends loose, expressive linework with gritty textures, resulting in bold, exaggerated characters full of energy and emotion. Jon’s work is rooted in narrative and mood, with a focus on bringing personality and depth to every project.”

STEPHANIE HIDER

“Stephanie Hider is an illustrator that specializes in children's picture books. Her style is vibrant, colorful and expressive.  She loves illustrating books that include diverse characters, mindfulness, magic, folktale, imagination, anthropomorphic humorous animals with empowerment as the central theme. When she is not illustrating she enjoys purchasing books, sometimes reading the books collecting on her shelves and walking her malti-poo pup.”

My work is filled with love, positivity, and a passion for storytelling, and I’m constantly evolving, learning, and growing with every project.”

HARVEY WALLS

“Harvey discovered he was an artist in kindergarten. Born a thinker and a perfectionist, he added to his skills by graduating with a B.A. in graphic design at Kutzown University of Pennsylvania. He currently resides in the northeastern United States.”

ELETTRA CUDIGNOTTO

“I'm Francesca Elettra Cudignotto, though most people call me Elettra. Born in 1990 and based in Vicenza, Italy, I've been a freelance illustrator since 2015.

My work is defined by a unique and timeless drawing style, consistently on-time deliveries, high reliability, and proactive, clear communication.

I collaborate with clients worldwide on a diverse range of projects. This includes illustrating self-published children's books, creating branding materials (like labels and flyers for small businesses such as honey and wine producers), and developing illustrations for educational books.

My path to illustration includes a 2012 degree in Visual Arts and a 2014 Master's in Economics and Management of Arts – all of which led me to my current passion: happily drawing every day!”

She lives and works in a small hamlet on Lake Simcoe, Ontario where she continues to dream up delightful mischief one illustration at a time.”

ASMAA ADEL

“My name is Asmaa Adel, a 33-year-old pharmacist from Egypt with a deep passion for art. Although I haven't studied art formally, I’ve been drawing from the heart for as long as I can remember. Painting and illustrating are my ways of expressing emotions and telling stories through colors and lines.

Over time, I discovered a special connection with children's book illustrations. It’s more than just work to me — it's an art form that carries a piece of my soul into every page. My goal is to create visuals that spark imagination, joy, and warmth in the hearts of children.”

CAROL BISSO

"I’m an illustrator from Peru, now living in Ireland, with a passion for children’s books, sweet characters and the magic of childhood. My work— traditional or digital—has a light and whimsical feel. I hold a Master’s in Children and Youth Studies, a background in communications and I stay inspired by my two little ones and our picture book collection. I work remotely and value clear communication and feedback. So if you’re looking for an illustrator who will treat your story with the same love you put into writing it, I would be delighted to work with you.”

BEKAH GRACE

“Bekah Grace is an American picture book illustrator who has worked with publishers across the USA, UK, Australia, and France over the past 10 years. She has a love for bringing humorous, heartfelt stories to life by hand-drawing each illustration on her trusty iPad. Bekah typically works from her home studio in England alongside her husband and furry coworker - Mozie.

Through her work, Bekah’s ambition is to engage young minds and take them on a journey. She hopes her illustrations will make children feel seen, valued, and ignite in them a sense of curiosity and wonder. Bekah is most drawn to stories with themes of friendship, conservation, silly fun, and overcoming internal challenges.

Bekah’s biggest inspirations come from her own childhood growing up in Bolivia, her love for the natural world, and her Christian faith. Bekah holds to the conviction that good storytelling has the potential to shape mindsets, bring clarity in confusion, and (not to be dramatic or anything) to change the course of a life.”
