Jorge Pacheco

I have been a professional comic book artist/illustrator for the past 40 years. I am a graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon Art in Dover, NJ. I am currently the writer and artist for the Lewiston Tribune on the comic strip “Lewiston Cop”. My first completely creator-owned graphic novel was published last year, "Dee-Ceased".  I have worked for most major comic book companies: DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, Tokyopop, Archie Comics, American Mythology, and was staff/lead artist for Harvey Comics from 1990-95 where I illustrated characters such as Casper the Friendly Ghost, Baby Huey, Richie Rich, just to name a few. During my career, I have worked on other famous, licensed characters including Bullwinkle & Rocky, The Flintstones, Archie & Jughead, Laurel & Hardy, The 3 Stooges & Jonny Quest.

In addition, I was Lead & Staff artist at JUNCO/Flamehead clothing from 2002-03. Other accomplishments include working briefly as a staff artist for Jim "Garfield" Davis, teaching basic cartooning at UCLA, and having my own syndicated comic strip "CEO Dad" which ran in 12 major newspapers. I have illustrated 8 children's books and have spoken at the Charles M. Schulz Museum and the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity as a guest speaker in the past.
